i bought these gloves to get my hands to stop blistering. The grip is decent, but not comparable to bare handing it. The gloves slow the accumulation of blisters, but, like i said, they are a little slippery. Therefore I use them for practicing but not live performances. The material is good, and the mesh back really succeeds in preventing hand sweat. My only complaint is that the seam of the mesh and leather meets on the side of the thumbs, which actually causes irritation in that area. But overall, my hands are relieved of most of the pain.

I play metal and I was sick of blisters so I got these. I no longer worry about blisters but unless I use grip tape they are rather slippery unless you grip really hard. Other than that they haven't fallen apart or anything yet.

They work for me...

I've never been much on using gloves while playing until I couldn't take my hands being raw and blistered...I also grew tired of taping up my fingers. Anyway, they took a little getting used to, but I like them. The have a very silky feel to the leather and are really smooth. They have the padding you need where you need it and the price is the best you'll find. I may try upgrading to a better pair, but they work for now. The only problem is I get a weird cramp in my right hand with my thumb and index finger...I never had that until playing with these gloves, not sure why. Possibly because it may keep my hand or fingers more controlled....I don't know.

I love these gloves! First of all I've been playing drums for 13 years and I know how to hold a stick correctly my issue was that my hands sweated a lot which caused my sticks to slip out my hands (mainly my left hand) or they might just crack from the moisture if I get hot enough while playing. So I was looking for a solution to fix the sweating issue so I picked up a pair and man did these gloves fixed my issue. I can hold my sticks with more confidence and my sticks last longer because they don't end up moist with sweat.

So drummers if you suffer from sweaty palms get these gloves!!!!

Been playing for over 35years. Thought the younger guys were just wearing them for looks. Finally broke down and purchased a pair. I am impressed. My hands tire and hurt less when playing for extended periods of time. No flying drumsticks in a church setting is definitely a plus. Not having to grip the sticks so tightly, is the secret to less fatigue. These gloves are a relief.
