1) it is made in China, not Germany. The mini harmonica made in Germany is the Hohner Little Lady.

2) the color of the plastic "ornamental beads" may be any color. Mine had pink and blue on them, which I was satisfied with, but if keep this in mind if you're a man who gets a pink-and-yellow beaded mini harmonica necklace.

3)It is in the key of C, and plays in the upper register of a normal 10-hole (holes 7-10), but is laid out like the 4-7 holes.

4) As soon as it comes out of the little plastic bag with the staples in it (that also includes a little slip of paper with a song on it), it is very delicate. I advise you to play gently, for I broke one of the draw reeds by drawing too hard.

Overall, I was very surprised at the quality of workmanship Hohner has put into such a little instrument. The reeds are close to the holes, and, being so small, it makes for an easily-cupped vibrato. However, due to the delicacy of this harmonica (DO NOT CLENCH IT BETWEEN YOUR TEETH!), I am forced to give it a lower rating. Please note that you can blow-bend these reeds. I'd also recommend the Little Lady Harmonica by Hohner, which is said to be of good workmanship.
