Let's be realistic here, it's just a display case. It's not all that fancy, but for the price, there's nothing else out there that can touch it. Many of the display cases on the market are more like pieces of furnature, and come with a steep price tag. This is pretty much bare bones, but it does what it does (hold a guitar up while offering some protection) well. When I first saw it, I thought, heck I could make that for less, but that's not really the point - you're paying more so that you don't have to go out, get the materials, and then make it yourself. That alone makes it worth the price in my opinion. Greatest thing since sliced bread? Umm...no. Decient product at a fair enough price? Yes. If you want to display your guitar, and don't have three grand to sink into a large, heavy - but also beautiful - display case, this is a great way to go.

After a year of not knowing what kind of case to buy, I came across the Display and Play website and chose a Playola. This case is an excellent value and my guitar looks absolutely stunning in it. Great addition to my home that is attractive and keeps my guitars in view. As a result I find I am playing everyday.

For the money my Playola cases keep my favorite guitars safely off the floor and clean with their air tight design door. The key and lock keeps the little people in my house from getting tiny hands on my guitars.
